Formerly (shy of 8 years) an award winning Realtor with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group in Appleton, WI.


Steven “RedBeard” Vertz has lived in the Fox Valley area all his life. Prior to real estate, Steven ran a small computer & gaming repair shop before graduating with a B.S. Criminal Justice degree. Some of his work is still used to help teach other Criminal Justice Students. This area of study eventually led him to managing up to 140 inmates a day as a State of WI Correctional Officer, before he decided to go back into business for himself.


In His Free Time: Steven loves to continually learn, read, write, repair broken things, hike, bike, camp, exercise, ride his motorcycle, etc. He lives out in the country in Grand Chute with the love of his life, his wife, Cathy Vertz, who is a Director of Nurses at Primrose Retirement Community (Formerly a Registered Nurse [ICU Critical Care] and supervisor at St. Elizabeth Hospital), two children (a daughter that is currently a student at Steven’s Point College and a son that is headed to the Marines in the Fall of 2023), two White German Shepherds, and 1cat.

I truly enjoyed working with Isaiah. Not only is he a great guy to work with, he is very knowledgeable and always made time to talk and answer any questions that came up, even last minute. Isaiah was fun to work with also which added to the ease of the process of finding and buying a home. He took the time on a holiday weekend to change up his schedule to show me a home and took his time to go through the home with me instead of rush through. Isaiah's job doesn't end after the sale either. He has kept in touch to see how things are going.
